Audrey is the author of the two leading texts on condominium law, The Condominium Act: A User’s Manual, 5th ed. (Thomson Reuters), and Condominium Law and Administration, 2nd ed. (Thomson Reuters), as well as the booklet Condominium Ownership: What you need to know. Audrey is a frequent lecturer for the Law Society of Ontario and Ontario Bar Association.
She is also a guest expert on the CBC and City TV on issues relating to condominium law. She has served as Co-chair of the Ontario Bar Association, Real Property Subsection Condominium Committee, and has been a former member of the Ministry of Public and Business Delivery Real Property Registration Committee, the Ontario New Home Warranty Program Consumer Advisory Committee, the Board of Directors of the Real Estate Council of Ontario and National Board of Directors of the Canadian Condominium Institute.
She has been a member of the Expert Panel created by the Government of Ontario to review and advise on proposed amendments to the Condominium Act, 1998 and the Protecting Condominium Owners Act, 2015. She was also a member of the panel that the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services consulted on changes to the Ontario New Home Warranties Plan Act arising from the Cunningham Report. She is a Professor Emerita of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University), School of Business Management. She has completed the Institute of Corporate Directors and the Joseph L. Rotman School of Management’s Financial Literacy Program for Directors and Executives and the Governance Essentials Program for Directors of Not-For-Profit Organizations. She is also trained as a mediator and arbitrator.
