Megan was born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She attended Dalhousie University, earning a Bachler of Commerce (Co-op), with Distinction, and worked in marketing for a geographic information systems company in Alberta before returning to school to attend Osgoode Hall Law School at York University, earning both a Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws. She brings over 15 years of experience to her broad-based civil litigation practice, with a particular emphasis in construction law, professional liability and commercial litigation.
Megan's construction practice involves representing and resolving disputes for owners, contractors, subcontractors and design professionals. She has extensive experience in the areas of construction liens, contract claims and negligence claims and has been recognized by her peers as a leading lawyer in construction law by Best Lawyers in Canada . Megan's professional liability practice also overlaps both construction law (in which she defends architects and engineers) as well as commercial disputes (in which she defends accountants).
