Victor Yee
Associate
Victor joined the condominium industry in 2008, and spent more than 10 years at a boutique condominium law firm in Toronto where he advised condominium clients on governance and enforcement matters, and litigated at all levels of court in Ontario.
As legal counsel, Victor has advised hundreds of condominium corporations and unit owners across the province. Victor draws upon his experiences as the former President of a 1,000+ unit condo in central North York, and the President of a 1,000+ unit condo in south Etobicoke, to help guide condominium Boards through the ever-evolving challenges of governing a community.
As a litigator, Victor has successfully represented clients in the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Divisional Court of Ontario, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Justice, various Small Claims Courts, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, the Ontario Municipal Board, the Landlord and Tenant Board, the Condominium Authority Tribunal, and in condominium-related mediations and arbitrations.
Victor is often called upon to chair owners meetings, speak at industry events, and present on panels about the latest developments in condominium law.
When he's not thinking about condos, Victor enjoys travelling, venturing into new restaurants, and paddleboarding with his wife on the majestic waterways of Ontario.
